Come learn to be well in a supportive, validating, non-ridged, and compassionate environment.
The primary focus of my practice is treating adults who have had adverse, abusive, and or neglectful childhood experiences, who are struggling now in adulthood as a result of their first care takers inability to care for them appropriately during their childhood, adolescence and teenage years. The focus of treatment is helping an individual learn that they are not to blame for their parent's behaviors. They did nothing wrong and did not deserve this, and that they do have the ability to heal from this even if they believe it is not. This is done through psychoeducation which I believe is part of the foundation of learning to be well now in the present. I use a mix of therapeutic interventions such as: person centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, as well, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing.
I will be there for you during every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
